Welcome to CICEL
Welcome to the website of the International Center for Cultural and Language Studies (CICEL ) in Cuernavaca, Mexico. CICEL is a social corporation with non-profit status in Mexico, dedicated to fomenting alternative education, cultural awareness and the care and protection of the environment. A portion of our earnings goes towards funding community projects that we design and direct. CICEL is an educational cultural center filled with exciting opportunities for people interested in participating in our projects and studying the philosophy, languages, and cultures of Mexico. We offer Spanish classes, Nahuatl courses and one of our most important programs is Traditional Medicine in Contemporary Mexico, offered twice a year during the summer. In addition, CICEL offers an exciting volunteer program that provides incredible support to community efforts.
